Tonight's game on Long Island could be home-game equivalent
UNIONDALE, N.Y. —
Tonight's Devils-Islanders game could be the equivalent of a Devils home game.
There are reports that thousands of season-ticket holders and regular fans will be making the journey out to Nassau County for the 7 p.m. puck drop.
Devils fans have, over the last few years, done a good job of going to games on the Island, but I suspect this will be something like we've never seen before.
A good number of seats still remain for the game — ironically, behind the goal where the Isles shoot twice, so the number of Devils fans in that building could be unprecedented.
