All but one NHL game was sold out on Friday, Jan. 25 — including matches in Newark, Boston, Detroit, Tampa Bay, Winnipeg and Anaheim.
The only non-sellout was in Buffalo, where 18,824 showed up.
The First Niagra Center has a new capacity of 19,070, which was reached in the Sabres' first home game. In past seasons — without the new seats — this would have topped a sellout crowd for Buffalo.
