Flyers’ Giroux arrested in Ottawa, says The Ottawa Sun

Claude Giroux
OTTAWA —
Though details are sketchy, the Ottawa Sun is reporting Flyers superstar Claude Giroux was arrested last night and spent the night in an Ottawa jail. The Sun says the incident leading to the arrest happened in a bar and involved some sort of groping of a police officer’s buttocks.

The Flyers issued a brief statement in response to the news.

“We are aware of the reports surrounding Claude Giroux. Until we have more information, we will withhold making any further comment.”
