Bored without hockey? Here's something to perk things up

A couple of days ago, I was surfing around a few sites — I was quite bored — and I thought of ways fans of the New Jersey Devils could be entertained during the off-season. For us hockey fans, it’s just not easy to find things to do when our sport is on summer holiday. But I definitely found something quite enjoyable.

It’s an online slots and casino site out of the UK. It’s completely secure and there are a plethora of games to play. And best of all, there are cash prizes to be won.

Whether it’s regular card games like blackjack, poker or roulette — or other games — there’s just about something for everyone here.

Among some of the other great games are Monopoly, Star Trek, all sorts of slots games, craps, Keno, bingo and so much more.

Perhaps you’re thinking — well, how safe is a site like this?

Not to worry at all. The site is fully https compliant — and all transactions are completely safe. So see for yourself — check out the site right now by logging on to castlejackpot.com — you won’t be disappointed.

Odds and ends

• We’re a few weeks away from it, but the 10th season of ABC hit medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy” is going to be one of the best yet, I am certain. There are a ton of unanswered questions we’ll likely learn about in the first episode. Did Dr. Richard Webber survive his electicution? Are Callie and Arizona done? Can Alex survive more than a month in a relationship?

The season premiere is slated for the last Thursday in September at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. Click here for more.

• Lastly, the coverage of Jaromir Jagr’s arrival in New Jersey has been spectacular, especially from the Star-Ledger. Check it out at www.nj.com/devils.
