The Bergen Record reports today that while Ilya Kovalchuk is a few days away from returning to game action, the Devils won't wait until he's 100 percent before allowing him to play.
“I’d take him at less than 100 percent, but he’s got work to do before he’s an option,” Coach Peter DeBoer told Tom Gulitti.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, eh?
