Devils fail to sell out for just the third time this season

I totally misread the ticket availability for tonight's game.

A crowd of 16,099 was on hand for tonight’s (yet another) loss at the Prudential Center. It’s the third non-sellout of the year for the Devils — and it’s not surprising one bit, frankly, that the game didn’t sell out.

I can only imagine Ticketmaster’s allotment this afternoon wasn't correct, because it looked like only a handful of seats remained. But this one was 1,500 short.

And I can only suspect the crowds will continue to dwindle as the team just continues to play dead.
