NHL Attendance Watch for Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013

There were four games in the NHL on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, and of them, three were sellouts.

The non-sellout was Nashville at Anaheim, where the 14-3-1 Ducks won, 5-1, in front of 13,630 (79 percent full). This is an awful crowd for a team with 29 points of a possible 36 points in the standings.

Sellouts were played in Philadelphia, LA and Toronto.

  1. I hate to say it. When it comes to Anaheim, I was told by a few people I know who live there that most of the the people go to Duck games because it's the "in thing" to do down there. Most of the people who go there couldn't tell you what a hand pass was. Couldn't name you five players on the Ducks.

Though to be fair those people I know who live down there are probably the true Ducks fans that has followed the team since Day 1 of their existance.

  2. Why is attendance so bad?
