Here's hoping Lindy Ruff finds coaching work elsewhere


So by now, you know the longest-tenured coach in the NHL, Lindy Ruff, has been fired by the Buffalo Sabres. Won't belabour the point, other than to say I hope he finds work elsewhere. He's really one of the good guys in the NHL (even though he gave me headaches during his time as a Ranger).

By the way, am I the only one who is amused when organizations say they've "relieved the coach of his duties," rather than just saying "we fired the guy?"
