Tortorella in brouhaha following tonight's loss

PHILADELPHIA

Update
New York Rangers head coach John Tortorella got into it with a reporter after tonight's 2-1 loss in Philadelphia, we're told by a source covering the game.

We're not sure precisely what happened just yet The "incident" occurred after a reporter from Newsday asked the coach a question, we're told. Tortsie said "That's a stupid question," in response, and then admonished the reporter not to ruin it for everyone else in the media gathered. When another reporter then asked the coach whether he considered sitting goalie Henrik Lundqvist, the coach said: "That's a stupid question. We're done."

What we also know, for sure, that it wasn't the usual suspect who got under the coach's skin — Larry Brooks.

Welcome to Game 4 of a 48-game season.

Oh, and by the way, the Rangers dropped to 1-3 on the season.
