'Stand Up And Turn Around' at home openers

Imagine if all these bodies were turned away from the ice?
My buddy Caitlin Campbell, who lives in the TO area (Toronto, Ontario — they like to call it "TO") has joined forces with a plan to "Stand Up And Turn Around" at the opening faceoffs at home openers in the NHL. As much as we'd like to send a message to the NHL over the lockout, by not going to games, etc., that just isn't going to happen. So, this idea came along — and I strongly back it.

Please click here to read the entire story on Caitlin's website — The Puck Stops Here. Then, if you're going to a home opener, stand up and turn around.

A quick word about Caitlin, too. She's an avid fan of the Buffalo Sabres, and was a hockey goalie herself, until injuries prohibited her from playing. She's one of the most talented hockey writers I've ever known — and she knows so much more than just NHL hockey.

Please check out her website — and bookmark it. I guarantee you'll enjoy it if you're a hockey fan.
