Kovy perplexed there was thought he'd stay in Russia. So were the quotes made up?
NEWARK —
Ilya Kovalchuk seemed surprised there was talk he'd stay in Russia. But the quotes, last week, were pretty clear — he said he wasn't in a rush to get back here. Just reporting the facts. You decide. Here's what he said to the media earlier today, courtesy of the Devils' PR department.
