The Devils today announced their training-camp roster, and for the first time since 1990, the name Martin Brodeur is not on it.
Some interesting numbers, too, by the way.
It is pretty disappointing that Lou Lamoriello still will not give No. 13 out. Mike Cammalleri has worn the number in the past, but he will, instead, wear No. 23. Which of course is intriguing since Scott Gomez is in camp wearing No. 28 (and not his former No. 23).
Want to read into anything? Most tryouts get very high numbers, but not Gomez.
Jordin Tootoo got No. 74 and Ruslan Fedotenko No. 76.
