Rogers Sportsnet has fancy studio for first NHL broadcast

Well, today marks the unofficial Canadian marriage between Rogers Sportsnet and the NHL. They’ve got comprehensive coverage of the first day of the NHL’s free-agent frenzy (and you can watch it right here on NewJersey-Devils.com since they allow embedding ... see a few posts below this one). They also have a really neat studio, including this one with a huge table in the form of an ice surface. Good luck Rogers. It’ll be interesting to see if they can match or surpass TSN’s NHL coverage, which was by far the best anywhere in North America.
