‘A Devil’ held up a Dairy Queen in Montague, N.J.

From the N.J. State Police, this man, dressed in a Devil mask, apparently held a Dairy Queen up at gunpoint in Montague, N.J., a quiet suburb in Sussex County.

Here’s the report from the NJSP.

The New Jersey State Police Sussex Station is seeking the public’s help with identifying a suspect wanted for the armed robbery of a Dairy Queen located in Montague Township.

On July 11, at approximately 10:24 p.m., a male suspect wearing a red mask depicting a horned devil, a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, black baggy sweatpants, and grey cloth gloves with rubber palms, entered a Dairy Queen in Montague Township, brandished a handgun and demanded money. Prior to fleeing the scene, he struck an employee in the forearm.

It is believed that this suspect committed a similar armed robbery on the same day at the Days Inn in Deer Park, N.Y.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the NJSP Sussex Station Detective Bureau at (973) 383-1514.
