So earlier this week, Shop @ NHL made a huge mistake, offering a $199 authentic jersey for $63 plus tax where applicable. See the image below.
Two days later, a fan got this e-mail back from the NHL, canceling the order.
Great job out of the NHL here.
I’m hearing they honored the first 1,000 purchased. Doesn’t matter to the others who got a $10 gift card.
The NHL should have honored every single order it got. But is this a surprise? Hardly.
