NEW YORK —The 2014-15 NHL schedules will be announced
Each team’s home opener will be announced sometime Saturday, June 21 (
As of now, Tom Gulitti reports three pre-season games, including:
— @ Philadelphia, Thursday, Sept. 25
— @ Brooklyn (Islanders), Friday, Sept. 26
— @ home, Philadelphia, Sunday, Sept. 28
The Devils usually play around six pre-season games. Three at home against Philly, the Islanders and the Rangers. And three on the road against the same. In the last few seasons, there hasn’t been a pre-season game at Madison Square Garden with the renovations -- but that should change this season with the upgrades now complete.
