So here we are, just a few days away from the beginning of the NHL season. And with the start of any sports season, the odds makers are certainly creative with what one could wager on.
One of the odds I found most intriguing relates right back to our own New Jersey Devils — and one of our newest forwards — in Jaromir Jagr.
And if you're betting on NHL games or other things to transpire, I am sure you'll get a chuckle out of this one: What will be higher for Jaromir Jagr, his jersey number (68) or games played in the 2013-14 season?
There is also a line on Jagr: What will be higher at the end of the season: Jagr's age (42) or his point total? Gotta love that!
Still, it'll be a great 2013-14 season no matter what they say in Vegas. In fact, history says the worse the Devils' odds are to win a Cup, the better their chances actually are! So let's hope those odds are pretty darn low!
