It's been the best promotion night of the last three seasons, and stupidly, the Devils won't wear their green-lined jerseys this year to coincide with St. Patrick's Day, the Bergen Record reports.
The last three years, the Devils wore them as part of "Throwback Night," and all three games were sold out — and extremely popular among fans.
This is the first time in a long while a Devils decision has me irate. This was a great way to honor the team's infancy — and it just makes no sense why they won't do this Saturday.
Awful move Devils. Awful move.
