BOSTON —
Republican operative and Obama hater goalie Tim Thomas has said he hopes to return to the NHL for the 2013-14 season. Apparently, he's forgotten during that season, it will have been only the first year of President Barack Obama's second term. I guess he's OK now that
Romney won Obama won.
Despite Thomas's refusal to play this season, his $5 million salary, which he won't get, will count against the Bruins' salary cap, unless the team decides to trade him. He has one year left on his current contract.
